I’m just going to go ahead and apologize ahead of time – Sorry, not sorry – for oversharing these images! I love extended family shoots where we can do cousins and grandparents with all their grandkids, and also extra hands so we can get moms and dads alone in shots. They are just SO much fun, plus it feels like a party when everyone is together.
One of my favorite parts of extended family or generational shoots is that I get a peak into your world as a family, and its just so fun. I always feel like I’m welcomed in and a part of the family and I’m able to get a small glimpse of the joy that happens with families get together (especially from those grandparents, AM I RIGHT?)
And can I just highlight Joyner Park for a minute? This wide open spot in Wake Forest is absolutely precious! Even when there’s lots of folks there, because its so big you can still feel like you have plenty of room to breath.
If you haven’t had an extended family or generations family shoot, what’s stopping you? One afternoon (or morning) of your time, and you get beautiful images that you love of people and combinations you wouldn’t otherwise have! It’s the best.
